Here is one person's story in her own words. This person was a United Airlines dispatcher working during 9/11.

I explained to you that during 9/11, I was a management employee for one of the targeted airlines, and that day I watched one of the flights from my domicile fly into the world trade center. It still gives me goose bumps to talk about it, although I know logically I could not have saved them, but to know I had talked to them on Sept 10th, was very hard to rethink everyday after that horrible day.

I have always been one of those types that had to be one step ahead, the neat freak, always thinking as my mind was going 240 - with one leg always shaking. …..

The day I went in for the shot - I was SSOO nervous. A needle in my neck - I just couldn't quite swallow that one too well. It went very well actually. I left your office, got in my car & looked at my friend & said "I feel different". We got home, and I can not quite explain it, but I was so laid back. It was if I had moved to Key West for a few weeks. I really didn't care if laundry was laying on the floor - in fact - it was! I walked over it like 4 times in one day! The old me would have had it picked up the very first time. Dr. Joshi had a great way of putting it...the normal me was more like Monica on the TV show "FRIENDS" - although the new me wasn't quite Phoebe - but sort of a mix of Rachel & Phoebe combined. My pain had also improved - and for me - that was so awesome!!! But it made total sense. When you are relaxed, and not tense, you're nerves are also relaxed.

It's been a while since that shot and I can tell that Monica has returned. Not completely, but almost. Would I do it again? In a New York minute...sign me up
